Are you a qualified and experienced carpenter looking to take the next step in your career and willing to work towards a supervisory role with our company Unique Constructions, in Cairns, Far North Queensland ?
We have secured several new projects in 2022-2023 to which we require an additional team member to help manage these projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum of Cert III qualification with minimum 3+ years’ experience
- Carry all required tools and be on the tools whilst being able to direct all on-site movements
- Conduct toolbox meetings when needed
- Professional attitude with a strong work ethic
- Be self-motivated
- Confident ability to read and interpret plans
- Ensure OH&S and quality standards are met on site
- Report all incidents, hazards, and injuries
In addition to the above responsibilities include:
- Excellent organisational, planning, and programming skills
- An ability to manage and liaise professionally with subcontractors and clients on site
- A passion for high-end residential construction
- An innate eye for detail
- Guide apprentices in their work tasks
- Carpentry Trade Certificate (Essential)
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Immediate start
